Our proactive stance for charities

Before selecting the beneficiaries of our assistance, we conducted our own research by referring to our company’s network of regional divisions. The administration of some geriatric boarding houses immediately lost any interest in cooperation when they heard that it was not worth expecting money from our company directly. In conditions of pandemic we cannot visit every institution, check people’s living conditions and whether our help really came, so we decided to help institutions that showed their openness. Some of our charges are so vivid in their online coverage that we ourselves have lost our own stereotypes about the work of geriatric boarding houses.

We implement the charity project on our own. Before planning our assistance, we gathered information about the needs of nursing homes. Then we conducted an internal strategy session. The program is supervised by a responsible manager. Our employees are always eager to respond to social initiatives, in particular to deliver humanitarian aid as part of projects.

If a specialized foundation is interested in cooperating with us, we will gladly consider such an opportunity. We not only have the resources, but also the relevant experience, which can provide additional synergy to the project. It is important for foundations and businesses to share their expertise with each other. We are gradually adding to our knowledge of rapid procurement, shaping and delivery of care, our understanding of the specifics of working with nursing homes. And foundations are already deeply immersed in the subject of charity, their expertise allows companies not to waste time on collecting and processing information, they can suggest how to make the process more effective.

Although 2021 can be called a crisis year for many areas of business, the level of involvement of large and medium-sized companies in charity is not falling. Thanks to COVID-19 many brands feel that they can influence the social life of the country, because the joint projects with charitable foundations allow not only to become players of the social sector, but “trabelshooters” in the spheres, where the state is not able to fulfill its duties.

It’s hard to imagine the work of dobro.ua without cooperation with business, because creating creative and effective charity projects for commercial companies is one of the tasks of our team. We cooperate with more than 190 foundations, so business has an opportunity to choose a charitable project in any category. Business can support the purchase of necessary expensive equipment for Ukrainian medical institutions, help adults and children in difficult life circumstances, finance projects helping people with disabilities, educational and cultural initiatives, support animal shelters, etc.
